The Delonghi deep fryer is pretty awesome. This method of cooking beats the fry pan, which spatters hot oil and takes longer to cook. The only drawback is volume; a larger device (maybe gallon/2 liter) would allow for "party-size" menus. The price was very good at 60% off!

Great filters

These filters do a great job of preventing the grease from coating your kitchen. They also last a long time. It's tough to find these filters in stores, so it's nice that Amazon carries them.

Keeps the grease where it belongs

These filters are made specifically for certain models of fryers, and while it is possible to buy generic ones and cut to size, these work best simply because they fit the openings in the fryers they are designed for exactly right in outer dimensions and thickness. Since the end result is keeping grease from getting on the floors, walls, and ceiling of your kitchen, these are indispensable if your fryer uses this type of filter. I wouldn't use anything else.

I've been unable to find these filters for years. I've used the one installed for 3 years, though without heavy use. It comes with three charcoal and three white filters. I'm all good now.

Best Home Deep Fryer Ever

This is the best Deep Fryer for the home that we have every had. Usually you have to have a fryer that is on 220 in order to get good crisp French Fries, Onion Rings, Tempura, etc. But this baby does it on regular home 110 (I use the frozen fries and rings). It is also easy to clean. I highly recommend it.
